It’s incredibly poor taste, especially considering we’re not too far removed from where they are now in the basketball hierarchy. Hell we had a recruit plucked away by UT when they got thrown a bigger bag not long ago, not to mention Golden on the football side of things. Just leave them alone.

hating on UNLV fans seems like a loser mentality IMO. this is the best outcome for us really - dedan goes to his dad’s alma mater, gets a crazy amount of minutes as a freshman and learns the college game,a nd then comes here.

That might be true but I get where they are coming from. We were there 10 years ago. I remember those days and I would never go and “in your face” to fans of teams like that, I remember where we came from and I remember the depression of losing out to bigger programs. Horrible feeling

The kid isn’t even in the portal yet. Let’s see what happens. If he enters the portal then I think there’s a good chance he ends up here.
As for Dedan, he would be able to fill the PG spot immediately. Not the same player as Shead as he doesn’t play with near the intensity on defense, but he has great court vision and a pretty descent jumper. If he can learn to play defense he could be special in his own right.
Dedan or Wade for matter, just need to be the best version of themselves, not Jamal. CKS will see to that.
