Yes, remember that “lurker” , bowling ball or whatever….the silent majority guy that made fun of me……he called me a Kipp academy coach and hurt my feelings….I’ve been sad for days.

Hypothetically we could open several threwds about various transfers both UH related and others. Then RT could merge them all into one catch all thread for say the 2024 year. Maybe call it something like “basketball players in the transfer portal for the year 2024”

Went to Aggie board. Marble (kicked off team before season) charged with violent sexual assault. $50k bond. Pop Isaacs may be headed to Ole Miss to play for beard. Aggies like some guy named Harris and have a lot of visits coming up. It’s good to be locked down at UH.
Did Tech lose a lot? Pop is a pretty big loss. I visited Lubbock a couple years ago and marveled how they get recruits to commit out there. Fans are supportive but it’s so far from anything. I figured they must have outstanding player lounges and game systems.

Tech - has like 5 players returning + 2 committed transfers. About 6 open scholarships
And one of their returning players, Cambridge, tore his ACL this past yr

UK also went Steinbrenner, sending one of their less valuable employees to the Arkansas chicken folks (unfortunately no alcoholic chicken in return)

It’s looking like Jeremy Roach is going to go to Baylor. Top of the conference is going to be incredibly strong next year with KU,UH,BU,and ISU. Arizona has been quiet in the portal so far and lost some of their players to the portal but they should still be good next year.

I would not be surprised if Zona finishes 5th-7th in conference. For all that was said about us having a hard time adjusting to the new league I think it would be actually true for the Wildcats. The physicality of the conference where it’s a bar fight every night might stun them a bit.

I too only watched a couple of minutes and thought the same thing.
I have them 5th for right now but I like Cincy’s roster and Kansas State is right around there too.

Pelle Larsson turning pro.
Arizona has lost 4 starters:
*Oumar Ballo (transfers to Indiana)
*Keshad Johnson (out of eligibility)
*Pelle Larsson (entering NBA draft)
*Kylan Boswell (transfers to Illinois)
Caleb Love could also turn pro. Very different roster next yr for Arizona

They have the #2 HS recruiting class coming in but being reliant on freshmen in this era isn’t ideal. I’m sure they will get some transfers too but I just haven’t seen them linked to many players in the portal.
