Getting taller at the guard positions by bringing in Uzan, Miller, and McCarty as well.
No he doesn’t but he did when he first arrived
His form looks so much better, but I feel like he’s grinding every time he shoots a FT. He’s staring a hole into whatever spot he’s looking at, like a hitter squeezing the bat handle too hard. Hopefully he gets to the point where he’s not thinking about the shot and can just let it go.
I will say that one CBI win was the most fun I ever had at a UH game until CKS arrived.
Same. Took a while before we had an atmosphere as good as that under CKS.
I hope McFarland doesn’t grow an inch or he will be rendered immediately completely useless to this team.
I’m just picturing coaches with a tape measure before a big conference game “he just crossed 7 feet dammit we can’t use him… turn in your uniform son”
So that’s how we’re making room for Uzan. It all makes sense now
So glad to see things work out for Dunn. And to a great university. He’s been at three now.
Half expecting him to be like “going to Pitt… Pitt… Pitt… Pittsburgh state! got’eeem!!”
We are going to do our best to find you a comfortable place to transfer. Thank you for your time
Dillon Mitchell transferring: 5 possible landing spots
Houston Cougars
Houston continues to excel under head coach Kelvin Sampson but is still looking for more consistency overall in March. Adding a couple of pieces this offseason could help change that and one potential target could be Mitchell. The Cougars were led by elite guard play this past season, but lacked size up front at times. Talented forward J’Wan Roberts’ return is a big boost for Houston, while the Cougars also have a couple of other forwards, Ja’Vier Francis and Joseph Tugler, who could take another step forward in 2024-25. However, adding more depth to the frontcourt would be big for this team, as would having an athletic, do-it-all kind of player like Mitchell. A potential draw for Mitchell to Houston is his high school teammate, Emanuel Sharp, who averaged nearly 13 points for the Cougars in 2023-24
I mean I guess if he wants to walk-on sure
Or he could just play barefoot….basketball’s version of Zola Budd.
Well that would be an interesting possibility of this was last week for us.
Future Baylor Bear.
IMO, McFarland has the highest upside of a high school big that UH has recruited in the Sampson era. Certainly more polished offensively. His issue is physical development and adding weight and muscle. I look forward to watching his development.
He would have been an intriguing prospect for us. Oh well
Lath could become a walk on
