If I were to buy the wine it would be for display only, its kind of my thing. The crate is a work of art, they used the original university seal, but changed the founding date to the modern 1927, they used the old style H with the cougar. It is beautiful. The bottles don’t seem to have the University on them at all, and for $95 a bottle I am going want to show them off. Also I don’t drink wine so maybe goofy looking labels are in. Yea, the etched bottles would be good. Get the box from one and the etched bottles for the other to display.
Then you can give away the goofy label stuff at a tailgate.Also, I think the only change in the seal over the years was the founding date but I could be wrong.
We’re picky and cheap. Wait till Jordan drops $100 polos. The same folks clamoring for them will then complain it costs too much.

The list of polo options I posted were $128-$130 each, for shirts… I know there are some of you country clubbers that will buy those, but the nature of those brands is at those prices they can have small print runs.
All we get locally are theses basic Colosseum, Antiqua and Champion shirts that are in that $45-60 range and are literally identical from year to year and pretty low quality. Is it too much to ask for some decent Nike, Columbia, or Jordan polos that run the $60-80 range. We get some of that stuff, but for the most part it is their basic line that does not change year to year. I used to buy the new Nike “Coaches Sideline Polo” every year and remember spending $75 on one 8 years ago, but at some point we seemed to have stopped being included in that. I don’t know if it is a retailer thing or a Nike thing. At this point I am wearing used team issued Nike and Jordan gear almost exclusively because the teams get the only cool apparel. Just grabbed this bad boy a couple weeks ago. And yes I would have paid $100 for it.
Where do you get the used team apparel from, if you don’t mind my asking (understand if you don’t want to give source)
For me mostly ebay and “other” sources, but if you don’t have time to refresh an ebay search several times everyday, my buddy Jason has a pretty good in with some of the guys and resales the stuff in his facebook group Houston Cougars Memorabilia Buy/Sell/Trade You have to be fast when he drops the stuff he will drop like 20-40 items at a time and the good stuff sells in minutes, but he will post when he plans to drop the stuff… over and over again.

Thanks, not too worry about the license as much as every internet store throwing NIL in its title and overcharging for stuff with none or very little actually making it back to the athletes, it reminds me of the clothing donation drop boxes that if you read the small print .50% goes to charity.

That’s LinkingCoogs parent site, you can get a discount if you have the the LinkingCoogs NIL membership. That is the only NIL site I know is legit, or at least the athletic department treats like it is legit and was founded by Coogs.
