Philly has come a long way since I lived after graduating from UH 1985-1988. It is pretty cool! Solid food, music, sports scene.

I actually taught a couple of database classes at Temple. Great Academics and most had a joisey accent. I stressed my Teeexxxaaassss accent just to bug them but they loved it.

Not surprised. As I understand it, there is a large contingent of south Jersey people who attend Temple because it is a great school, and better than the closest public school in NJ, which is Rutgers Camden. Temple is definitely in a safer location. Camden looks like Sarajevo.

Me too- when the thread about Philly Girls came up, I was suddenly reminded of these two that were students at Temple. I went a step further and recalled that glam inspired album cover and thought, “what the heck?”.
