No way I would expand the stadium at this point.
We need to sell out as many games as possible and make UH football one of the toughest tickets in town.
Only then would I think about expanding the stadium.

As I recall we had 44,000 SRO in 2016 for Louisville.
More than sufficient for now.

40K in that stadium is a wild atmosphere especially for night games. Zero need to expand until it is actually needed. As others have said there are other things higher on the list like football Ops center.

BTW, Baylor and TCU’s stadiums both have capacities under 50K.

- Football ops building is priority number 1. This should be started as soon as we sign the moving papers!
- Enhance stadium amenities and expand to 50K is priority no. 2. This should be done after playing in the new conference for at least 1 season.

Restrooms (or even porta potties) on the south side upper deck would be great.

Priority 2 can come much later after evaluating attendance. Big12 stadium compacity is from 45,000 to 61,000. An awning would be great though.

Maybe expand the third level on the visitor side, and then consider moving the press box above there and converting old press box to suites.

While we’re dreaming of upgrades. I would like for them to raise the lights as the glare is terrible from my seats. And lower the prices for the beers.

This is a message board so we can talk about whatever but any even half hearted contemplation of expanding is a wayyyyyyyyyys down the road and probably never with attendance everywhere ticking down generally.

Maybe we can increase the upper deck, leave the view of the city. then build another story on top of the IPF a couple years later.
