This is a pretty stupid rule.
The rule is don’t attack players by name. It should be easy to follow

Yes, i believe our mod meant using the players name and being derogatory (not just critical) in a personal way in regard to that player.

This. Deer lowered. Don’t personally attack the players. But if player X turns the ball over 4 times, posters will vent about it.
“Do not use the player’s name,” absent any context, is just dumb. I’m not a muckraker, or a scofflaw of the rules, but that’s an overly broad rule.

I am enjoying this sportsball contest between the public institution division 1-A university from Houston and the non-P5 private religiously affiliated division 1-A university from the DFW area. What a contest.
