I think it’s ok to extend the guy after going 12-2 in his 3rd year of his 5 years contract. What’s screwed UH is giving him another 5 years contract with a “f****** impossible buyout”.

A one or two year extension would have been sufficient. It wasn’t as though CDH was in high demand in the HC marketplace.

Take a look at the WVU forum for confirmation of GCC’s post. Oddly some people over there think he’s better than there current coach Neal Brown.
LOL. Let them hire CDH and we can help pay half (or even 2/3) of his salary next 4 years.

I think recruiting is hard. You just have to want to work at it. You have to want to make the connections, you have to want to talk to people, you have to believe in the university in order to sell it. Thankfully Coach Fritz and staff want to work at it, and believe in the University.

We’re Ranked #88 when you select the correct year (2024).
Not ideal, but better than where we were when Dana was let go.
We also aren’t done. The 2023 class was the final ranking.
I don’t think Rivals accounts for transfers either like 247 does.
Isn’t the traditional signing day still in Feb? Let’s see what the final is.

It tells me it wasn’t Pez’s call. Just because he has the title doesn’t mean he calls the shots on all things like hiring or extending bucks. I always suspected that he was doing Tillman’s bidding with Renu’s blessing.
