Not to say that Shelton won’t be a great player in college, but if EVER a HS player under 6’8” used his size as an advantage in HS, it was Shelton. Can he do that against guys his size with more athleticism? We’ll see.

Yeah his highlights were bullying way past smaller guys with no run protection. I saw one uncontested 3 in about a hundred highlight baskets
It doesn’t matter if this class is rated #1, 2, or 3. What matters to me is that we are actually signing players that would not have even taken our phone calls just 10 years ago.

I noted that after seeing Shelton in person I was not that impressed with his game. Personally don’t think he would have been at Duke for long.

We desperately need the talent, Arizona and Kansas have some very good players coming in. Tech is bringing back Toppin too. The big 12 is going to be more competitive this year. We need to reload and add more talent to keep our big 12 streak going
