New OC! BOOOOM

We have a solid 10 receivers at the moment . Several young guys who will get their opportunity to step up like Banks, Nelson, Wallace, MHP & Wilson to go with the more experienced guys like Manjack, Johnson, Cobbs and Brown

Just mostly concerned with the Oline

Had to look it up to confirm it, but he didn’t coach at Sam. He coached at Lamar as WR/ST while Willie was at Sam. Later he was OC at SFA, but Willie was at Tulane by that time.

The OC for UNC in the video above, Phil Longo, was at Sam the year after Willie left for Georgia Southern.

We have good skill position guys we just have to get the oline fixed. I don’t think the QB is terrible but we do need to find the next guy either with who is on the roster now or recruiting either this year or next.

Depends on your defense . . . . .

Not sure if it’s been pointed out yet, but MSU was hit hard with injuries last year. Apparently they were down their 3rd string QB and 2nd string RB while playing an SEC schedule.

Few on here ever let facts get in the way of their opinions . . . . .

Let’s be positive and upbeat about our hires folks, Willie knows what he is doing. Been doing it for a lifetime. Man says “I don’t hunt, fish or golf I do football and spend time with my family.” He’s lasered focused on his craft 100%

I know for a fact that 32.8 > 23.7, which is what we scored this year. Another nine points a game on offense would have helped immensely if combined with a competent defensive scheme.

There are very few with as much at stake as CWF with this hire.

He also has immense experience and knows this coach well.

I am all in

Definitely see Norm telling this to Cliffy.

Facts are overrated.

32.8 would put us at 33rd best offense going off of points per game.
Wonder what his other stats were?

Looking back at all the hope in this thread is kind of sad.
