Never would refer to CBY as a Gangster, if I did my Mom would drop down from Heaven and kick my rear end. She thought he was the second coming. The slang dictionary needs to add Old Guys/Geezers to their list.

I guess Holman decided to come back to UH when a certain coach when he was here is no longer coaching here.

CWF commented on this today when asked by Ryan Monceaux from GoCoogs…
Said they noticed Holman was in the portal, and since they have a few QB’s hurt, spoke to him and were straightforward about coming in as a backup.
CWF mentioned that Holman was okay with that (and returning to UH) since he was familiar with the place & still had some friends (current players) on the team.
EDIT: CWF also noted that they had 1 open scholarship, so Holman will be on scholarship whilst here.
I’m sure that ultimately factored in to his decision as well…scholly, a chance to play in the Big 12 & reconnect with old friends at your old stomping grounds with a new (hopefully better coach)?
Sounds like Holman got a GREAT deal, considering that CFB starts next week, and he was just sittin’ in the portal with likely no one making an offer anytime soon.

When I see new letters to represent words I look them up and at that day I assume it is up dated. If I see a real word and don’t know the meaning, I also look that one up. I understand that some on here can’t tolerate us old guys and have no patience with us. But some day they too will be old guys if they are fortunate enough to live long enough.

I’m an old guy….52 now, no I’m not 80 but old enough to get aggravated about some things I see from younger people.
But I try and not to get mad over simple things……and I know there was absolutely no disrespect in someone being called an “OG”.

When someone questions something or some one, it doesn’t mean they are mad. But it does get irritating when we get derision instead of an answer.
When you accuse someone of calling someone of being a “gangster “ and calling for their banishment it’s safe to say you were mad/pissed.
