Iâm an oil guy but picking a pretty picture of one side and an ugly of the other isnât very fair.
Life isnât fair
Lol, weird response but ok.
Itâs just brainwashing for the gullible.
So far electric cars have to stay local in city so they go home and charge it again. Taking an electric car on a long road trip is a risk bc I never see charging stations. So most people with electric cars keep that car local then use the gas car for longer trips.
People with electric cars donât know how to use a smartphone and Google? A 2 second search and I found a website/app that locates all the charging stations in Texas. Hereâs just the Golden Triangle:
Looks like you can get from one city to the next with relative ease. The I45 corridor could use some more stations though.
Thatâs not a lot compared to gas stations everywhere. We have a long ways to go getting people to buy into electric cars. Driving from Houston to New Orleans thatâs not a lot of stations.
How many gas stations were there in the advent of the transition to ICE automotive? Wow itâs almost like consumer adoption and support infrastructure for electric vehicles are directly related to each other. Who woulda thunk it.
Weâre not there yet for people to feel confident but when I see as many charging stations as gas then we all will feel ok and confident of a long trip out of the city.
Because people who can afford a $100K EV will probably take a plane when they travel. Probably in first class.
Not true at all. Especially the first class part.
Plenty of EVs on the road to Vegas from L.A. They do have charging stations, and most I see long range are BMWâs and Teslaâs. The smaller EVs are for sure commuter cars.
Iâm half joking, itâs as silly as believing that someone that bought a Tesla that goes 0-60 in under 3 seconds and costs over $100K is doing it to save the planet. Or is virtue signaling. Just brainwashed by their media, and its so evidently so, as all their beliefs are in lock step with them.
My buddy bought one because it was insanely fast.
Youâre not an electric vehicle driver. How would you see or notice electric charging stations and determine itâs not enough? Itâs 2022 not 2012. And things will be drastically different in 2032. Iâm not sure what your point is in pointing out how infrastructure is insufficient when it increasing substantially year over year.
Youâre literally the dumbest person Iâve ever seen on the internet.
Do you think they make ICE cars from trees?
