Hughey has to be gone at the end of the season right? There’s so much revenue to be made by just having a competent WBB team that can draw decent crowds to the FC. Leaving money on the table.

There were maybe 100 there if you include spirit of Houston and that includes 20 or so OSU fans and our men’s team.
We had FIVE turnovers in the last two minutes. And we only shot two FTs (missed one) in a game OSU was desperately trying to come back in. The lack of fundamentals and composure isn’t new.
Oh I was watching and laughing to keep from crying witnessing blunder after blunder after blunder. That was about to be a classic by the book c**g’d it if I’ve ever seen one.

That’s like men’s basketball back in the days before Sampson maybe a few 100 came to our games, bad times
Congrats to the women. You have to give credit to the eight healthy players for really trying hard every game despite really hard conditions (including a head coach who is hapless). I think they’ll actually win a few more conference games.

There were some non-conference games that had really bad attendance no doubt, but there were crowds for conference games… that’s a stretch comparing Dickey/Penders era to current WBB.
Anyways, how did we get that big of a lead?
I started watching with 5 minutes left up 18. I know we don’t have a team up to the level needed, but that was some rough fundamentals down the stretch.
We had alot of steals and were hitting threes. We went into slow paced run out the clock conservative approach for over a quarter.

But we may need to revisit these single basketball games as the crowd today was atrocious - no way was there 1405 when one side was completely empty and it was a Saturday - may need to think about doubleheaders on the weekends or such

If UCF wins, UH is in the bottom of the conference with a head to head loss. We only had six players vs. Cincy which shot 2/14 from three. Blair played all 40 minutes and Summer was lowest time with 28 minutes. Do the ladies get worn out down the stretch of the season?
If the department’s expectations are being met with this train wreck is it even necessary to continue the program?
Surely there are other women’s sports that won’t embarrass the university to this degree.
