Houston Astros 2024 Season

Please

I think Brian Mctaggart mentioned yesterday that Brown said they are going to go with the rotation as is. The last time that I checked, they have a tough first month. Hopefully they can pull it together.

Fingers crossed for Julks.

I hope our bullpen is ready to eat some innings. That’s always a need in the early season, but especially so with that starting rotation.

In a karmic upheaval I am going to root for Dubon as my favorite Astro this season. He could be the spark plug the franchise needs to keep it optimistic. If he has a great year then it bodes well for the team over the long haul.

Let’s give him a shot at middle relief and let Framber call the pitches.

JV on the IL shocking.

Trade his arse for the 2 top prospects he cost us with his money grab, but I know he was hurting for coin. Zero respect for the poser.

Yah screw JV for helping us win two titles and getting us in the playoffs last year. Dude sucks.

And that’s the point. Biting the hand that fed him.

JV is on the IL because his schedule was pushed back from the off-season. His ramp up wont be ready to be on the opening day roster, so they put him on the IL. From what Chandler Rome has mentioned, he has looked good in his bullpen sessions. He may miss a couple of starts but I think they expect him back pretty soon in the season. But he is 40, 41 years old? He’s not a spring chicken, so really, this isn’t surprising. Also, the Mets are paying a pretty good portion of his salary.

Don’t care. He abandoned ship. The World Series Champion"ship".

“Oh baseball and my teammates means so much to me.”

How did he abandon ship?

Wow. As if that has to be explained. You’re regularly full of some WTFs. A recent one, after pointing the 500 lb. gorilla in the room to you, was met by you with, “Have a nice day.”

Worst part is they’re going to put this jerk in the HOF. Like hello, JV has made way too much money to be a HOF’er! Hate the way our sport has gone. All these rich millionaires athletes take advantage of poor small business owners like Mr. Crane and Mr. Cohen. If Justin had any honor he’d donate his salary back to the team that way Mr. Crane isn’t forced to lay off the custodial staff. Smh

You do realize that this isn’t little league, right? If you’re referring to him leaving for the Mets as a free agent, well, no one is obligated to stay at an organization after their contract is up. That’s not how this works. You’re throwing a fit because he made a life decision that probably also involved his fashion model wife who wanted to be in New York. Plus, why wouldn’t he try and get as much money as he can? Isn’t that good business sense?

Yeah, and I’m sure little league was the pinnacle of your career. Thanks for explaining the Captain Obvious narrative with the oops I stepped in it when “business” is so much more important than the team and its success as my willingness to detract from it when they’ve provided me with the fulfillment of what a player’s dream should be especially when he already has way more $ than he knows what to do with. Oh I know, live a life of exclusivity separate and apart from the teaming masses like those untouchables on coogfans or those deplorables in the stands who pay to watch me play a game. A game.

Haha

They’re you go again. The best laid plans of mice nipped in the bud.

You’re just entertaining, man. Haha
