Thatās true- I get it. Unfortunately, Dusty will probably use his performance today as a reason to keep him on the bench for the rest of the playoffs.

Of course he isā¦ā¦one game does not make a seasonā¦.I hope he can stay in a grooveā¦.because he was like 4-18 in his last five and can revert back in a heartbeat.
Just as Yainer had a horrible game with the bat , but does that mean Maldy is better? When the kid has had 2 ABās in the last two weeks I thought he might have a game like this.

At this point in the season, do we really care who emerges as the hero? Just win!
While it hurts to say this, I mean REALLY HURTS 
, that 2021 Houston team was flawed and was lucky that we did not have to play the Rays in the playoffs that season, as they choked in the first round. The Braves were better than us by the end of the season, and most prognosticators picked them to beat us in 6, and they were right. We had terrible starting pitching, and our so called āMurdererās Rowā looked like the gang that couldnāt shoot straight in the playoffs especially Bregman, Correa and Altuve. Heck we had to use Greinke as a pinch hitter as he was a more dependable bat.
In 2022, we won because our pitching was absolutely stellar. Our hitters still left too many many on base for my mind, but Tucker came in to his own, and Pena played lights out on the offensive side.
Baseball really is a game of inches.

We need to finish this series up tomorrow. Rangers are about to close out Baltimore in a sweep. We donāt want to burn JV in a game 5.

For the first time this season it felt like the hitting coach had been coaching everyone. They were ready for Gray.
