That is 100% fair. But the people who raise criticism only show up when UH loses a close game to a top 10 team. They also offer no alternative solutions. It’s annoying as heck.

Honestly I would be the first to tell you I’m not smart enough about the intricacies of basketball to know what the solution would be to improve the offense.

I get it. We are elite defensively. And better than average offensively
We have the same staff every year, so unfortunately the formula/playcalling doesn’t change much

Which is why strangely this year I’m not depressed about losing like I normally am. The recruiting class for next year has me too excited lol.
This isn’t about calling for CKS to be fired, this is about the same problems that show up year after year that causes us to lose games to decent teams that CKS never seems to fix.

Yes that’s the ultimate perspective if he never gets it. But he is still coaching and in his golden era. We want him to get it and that’s why we want him and the team to get better in certain areas. It doesn’t mean he sucks. It just means he needs to find an extra level in some aspects of the game to reach the very top.
It’s year 10 for CKS and you are still making excuses for him for bad FT shooting, scoring droughts, being unprepared without our best players on the floor etc?

All of them sting to me normally, I allow myself to get too invested lol.
Cougars actually shot free throws pretty well tonight. Definitely missed a critical one down the stretch with Jwan, but even he is shooting 82% this year from the line
