The Oilers were cursed. They fought like hell but couldn’t get across the finish line. Pastorini is still my favorite NFL player. But can these abominations of a uniform. They’re awful.

I am ok with a gimmick uniform but why would you do it against a team that wears red. We had a bunch of fans in the stands wearing the traditional red and it looked like a predominantly Texas Tech crowd.
We are just dumb sometimes.
It was like that time a few years back when the football team had a black out against a team whose main color was black.

If you are talking about the 2016 Louisville game then we couldn’t roll out anything special because they wear red, white, and black.
Well it was Halloween, we could have done orange. Maybe a slightly muted shade, seems to be popular around town. We could have paid homage to that.
I second the motion. Sampson needs to have a video at practice Monday where those hideous loser uniforms are burned!

The Louisville game was played in mid November in 2016, it could have not been Halloween.
Houston Blue Uniform Scorecard:
Vs Rice Football = Loss
Vs Baylor Football = Loss
Vs Texas Tech Basketball = Loss
I’m not superstitious but…
If the football team keeps wearing Houston Blue and losing, are they going to threaten to move to Tennessee if they don’t put a roof on TDECU?
Recommendation: Keep selling Houston Blue for the merch sales and stop wearing it for football and basketball games. Maybe the other sports will have success wearing it.

We list because of slow transitions on 3s and getting outworked on the boards… besides J’Wan who often had 3 Red Raiders grabbing and swiping at him after he had already secured the board…

I’ll say I’m looking forward to them in baseball, just because I like the powder blue era; then it’ll be much less an Oilers thing.
Please don’t do this to the baseball team. Oiler blue jerseys are bad juju.
