He maybe considering this will be his last main gig as a HC at a P4 if he gets fired. May end up in the coaching graveyard , like at a UTEP etc or worse in the not too distant future.
TCU gig ended quite a while ago. Maybe before UH game.
Nebraska has a great freshman QB.

There is no point to go after DH. He has moved on and got a position that I think is well suited for him. DH did donate to U of H. By getting this position I do believe it lessens what we have to pay him. Two others bolted as fast they could and one even left his rental car to be stolen. It is time to move on.

idk, imo I feel like he should go back to being OC for Gundy at OSU.

Yeah, gotta be desperate to install a new offense in Game #10, over the course of one week.
We’ll see if he’s still the offensive genius he once was.
I wouldn’t mind seeing him have success. I enjoyed his work as an OC at Houston… just not a big fan of his work as HC.

This is exactly what I told my friend when he told me Dana was named oc. I was like this late in the season?
I felt like Dana’s offense needs a good run blocking line to be effective. He may have that at NU.
I think he will excell with a quality line - that’s a pretty low bar though

Dana couldn’t figure out a way to consistently win in the Big 12. With two different teams. How the hell is he going to do against Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, Oregon et al…

That much less we gave to lay him…
