Last year we lose to Tulane the last team to qualify for the tournament and one that fired their coach at halftime. This year we lose to a below .500 team. Sampson needs to do something next year or needs to go.

LOL, Pearland you are the biggest crybaby on this or any other Cougar board. We got beat on UConnās home court and we need help with our inside gameā¦we all know that. It was a very disappointing loss, but we will be alright. All the people on this board calling for Sampsonās job are total idiots and know nothing about basketball. We have been a crap program with no fan support for many years. If Sampson canāt turn this program around, and I think he will, no one canā¦

Look thatās what the AD gets paid to do and not me or you. There are 300+ teams out there. I am sure there is a coach thatās better than Sampson that wants to coach at UH somewhere in there.
CKS must be thankful that UH is going to built Fertitta Center this coming season. Is going to buy him a year; Miss the NCAA tournament next year, he gone no doubt about that.
So name a coach that is better than Sampson and wants to coach in Houston.

The big man is going to be a continuous issue for the coogs next year also unless one of the new guys coming in surprises everyone. Well lets see what we can do in the NIT tournament. I think also more plays need to be run for Dotson and better screens to get him free.
You are missing the point. People get paid to do this and they need to start doing their job. I watch UH basketball I donāt follow any other team or look for up and coming coaches. The AD needs to start doing that.
On the bright side, Galen Robinson showed me something tonight that I havenāt seem from him in a while.
Aggression, forcing the action, not waiting around for Gray to do something. We need that from him.
Not sure if his jumper will ever develop based off of his porous free throw shooting, but thatās fine with me. We have shooters for that. He makes up for it on the defensive end.
I think CKS has done a great job with what heās had to work with, especially with the lack of talent with our big men. Back to back 20+ win seasons are a great starting point. With that being said eventually CKS needs to translate those wins into deep conference tournament runs and NCAA tournament bids.

You and everyone that believes that Sampson is doing an unacceptable job is missing the point. Weāre acting like entitled fans. Weāre in the NIT for a 2nd year in a row. Whens the last time that happened? Who will want to come to Houston in its current situation?
On the football side weāre screaming for continuity because we keep losing coaches. In basketball we got a coach that actually wants to stay in Houston, improves year after year, yet we want to fire him. Get your head out of your a**es

CKS needs more time. Plain and simple.
I would hope we can win some big recruiting battles in the 2018 class with the promise of new, beautiful, top-of-the-line facilities.
Hopefully White is just the beginning.
