Was an assistant at Penn State

A hire to move toward Tulsa status in the AAC.

Oh yeah, a much improved team and one that beat the #1 nationally ranked team. Yeah, dork from Penn State will surpass those achievements.

This guy is going to blow up at USF

Was time for a change there

Good for them

Yes.
He has been recruiting exactly where USF needs to be recruiting.
“In addition to Texas A&M and Georgia, Abdur-Rahim’s other assistant-coaching stops include Murray State (2006-2007, 2008-2011) and College of Charleston (2012-2014).”

Could see this as a landing spot for Ismael Massoud if they need a long range bomber from 3 pt land w good handles and solid D

Wouldn’t be shocked if Madsen is the coach at Kentucky in a couple of years

McNeese St. head coach Will Wade gets 10 game suspension and 2 year show cause penalty for 3 Level I violations while he was at LSU.

If I was the McNeese St. President, I would order the AD to the Principal’s office for a talking to.

I suspect they knew what they were getting into, but decided it was worth it to get him.

All the schools in Louisiana worship lsu so getting a lsu castoff to them on the cheap is worth it to them

@Hill Arizona State? I can see why Muss would leave. I thought it would be Louisville or a west coast University

The SEC is almost too tough a league.

(Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, Auburn) and then Florida, Ole Miss, Miss St, Georgia, A&M, South Carolina are getting better

Then adding Texas & OU.

Muss, is great with the portal + NIL.

But that formula is tough to do every yr. Every yr, completely new roster

I don’t understand why he would leave for those jobs. Arkansas has a rabid fan base & good NIL. One bad year shouldn’t lead to leaving for Minnesota or Ariz State

Agreed, plus if he goes to Arizona State, next year they are in the Big 12. That is a tougher conference than the SEC.

Could it be that he’s not choosing to leave? Maybe he’s caught wind of internal discussions around relieving him of his duties and he’s trying to get ahead of it. Pure speculation on my part, but it’s possible.

I think it’s called ROI to the BMDs.

Before Muss, Arkansas hadn’t been to the sweet 16 since 1996. I know there are unrealistic standards in college sports but that would be crazy
