The step up from HS to college is a big one especially for a QB. Even bigger for somebody playing in TCAL.
Texas and A&M aren’t worried about UH, they are in SEC and can get basically anyone they want
Except Henderson.

Not really concerned about them getting who they want, it’s about us being able to beat them when we play(and we will eventually in a bowl game). Optics is everything; horn and aggie got to experience that first hand this year!
They can’t stand it, but they’ll have to get used to it. UH is going nowhere but up!
How many National Championships?
How many five stars recruits?
How many HC’s?
Yeah they can get anybody they want and what did they have to show for it?
What’s that Kevin?

they are in SEC and can get basically anyone they want
The irony lol
He is coming because he wants to play for a winner and we have one in our coach. Great job Coach Fritz. Great things are coming!

I agree, but there will come a day when UH beats out UT and A&M for a highly prized recruit that sends their hair on fire, and the expected response will be UH cheated, the kid was overrated, he had an injury he didn’t tell anyone he had, or they have someone better to recruit and they stopped recruiting the UH signee.
There is no world that exists where UH beats them out of football recruiting.
Wonder how much we paid him or offered him. Also wonder what his starting salary will be in 2026.
Henderson to lead recruiting surge?
Henderson, a 7v7 star (at wide receiver), is a very outgoing and sociable recruit, one who will certainly play a big role in recruiting more talent to join him at Houston.
And naturally, most of his efforts will surround Houston based talent in an effort to build the program with home grown talent, just as himself. And being a 2026 prospect, Henderson will be able to recruit both the 2025 and 2026 classes. Following his commitment, Henderson has already told me he has a list of players he will be reaching out to first.
That intial group included Rivals250, four-star wide receiver Jacorey Watson and four-star wide receiver Jalen Cooper.
Prospects such as four-star wide receiver Christopher Stewart, four-star outside linebacker Kosi Okpala, four-star linebacker Tank King, and three-star offensive lineman Nicolas Robertson will also be among the names atop the list of targets.
Remember HCWF first press conference? His entire point was to engage the entire greater Houston area and have UH greats involved. He is doing it. This is massive and is/will be the key to our success.
This can be such a force-multiplier in recruiting.
Please note dear Coogs that Coach Fritz et al have been here …FIVE MONTHS !!!
Can you all believe what has been done in that short amount of time ? Brilliant !
Go Coogs !
This is so true and it illustrates how our previous HC was so much out of its “league”
Excellent post, Ron…THANKS! This is welcome news!!

Yeah, but what has he done lately? It’s been over a day since we got a big boom, I want results now - it’s 10:38 am Wednesday 5/29/24 and I want to see a couple more booms by at least 10:45.
Like the Rolling Stones said, “Maybe you can get what you want, but you need what you need…”.

Lol, maybe you should go into hibernation until 2026.
Lets hope when all is said and done, Henderson can get his buddies to play at UH. He may end up being a recruiting magnate or the Pied Piper of recruiting. Playing with a special player, especially at QB, can mitigate another school’s NIL offer.
Definitely starting to get a Herman-esque vibe from Fritz, not the lying and conniving Herman, the one before that, the one that put Houston back on the map.
