Thank you for saying this because a lot of our fans think they’ll just going to dominate as true freshman because they’re 5 stars. They’ll be some ups and downs.
No Cameron Boozer ? Lol.
No Isiah Harwell ?
If the Coogs lose a Emmanuel Sharp or a Mercy Miller bring someone like Wesley Yates back home could be an option.
Wesley had his shot to be a coog.
Yates has had two opportunities to sign with UH. I would only consider him if he reached out and really wanted to come to UH.
So did LJ Cryer but he’s been great for us in a UH uniform.
I’m sure you wouldn’t trade him right now.
Or Quentin Grimes several years ago.
Well, keep your fingers crossed, maybe you’ll get your guy. But, I highly doubt it.
Huh? Slow day in office?
He has really started to play well lately….shooting the ball really well.
I don’t hold anything against him for signing elsewhere….I think he just wanted to go somewhere different than TA.( not for any rift or anything, just to make his own mark).
Probably didn’t go as well as he would have liked but it’s not too late.
My question would be , does he want to work the way CKS teams work? Maybe so, maybe not.
We shall see.
Instead of work I’m thinking about Koa committing to us after we outclass the Kittens on Saturday…
Don’t let the loss to KState fool you.
Arizona is really good.
If you follow the Big 12 closely then you know that KSU has been playing better than just about everyone in conference for the last two weeks.
They have won 6 in a row now with wins over West Virginia, at Iowa St., Kansas, and now Arizona.
So Arizona losing yesterday was not a surprise….if anything it makes a win at Arizona even tougher Saturday….The McKale Center is going to be bonkers….
looking at the box score tells the story… they lost by only 3 DESPITE shooting 2-22…away…
that screams a good team on the assumption the dont shoot 2-22 every night (they are closer to 35% than the 9% they shot yesterday)… just 3-22 and they likely win the game, which is still horrible… the numbers show their arizona loss more of an ananoly bad shooting night than a falter. and they still ALMOST WON!
KSU shot 1-19 and still won by three. What does that say about them?
And they’re a better 3pt shooting team (34.6% vs 31.8%).
Did you look at the KSU shooting?
It was not an anomaly……it was two teams going to war and KSU coming out on top.
As @seemoreroyals said, KSU was 1-19 themselves….so the bad three point shooting was a wash.
that colema hawkins/dug McDaniel’s should stop shooting as many 3s… like @WhoWeTalkinBout stated kstate is actually a good 3pt shooting team too but from the hands of Hausen (and max jones) …arizona forced it out of their hands, and had hawkins jacking up crazy amounts of 3s,
when you have 2 players that combine 28% from 3 taking 11 3s, its not that crazy
kstate had a bad shooting night becuase their bad shooter took a ton of 3s… arizona had a bad shooting night because they are streaky and they had an abysmal game in their streaky spectrum…
with adding the context that half of Arizona’s 3s were open kick back 3s on offensive boards (As Arizona dominated the boards)
added context that Arizona’s starting PF didnt play from concussion protocol
