Sure context matters and no idea what teams will look like by next fall. Just saying my general expectation is for bigger improvement than 6 wins. BYU, ASU and CU all made huge jumps from poor seasons so 7-8 wins isn’t crazy to me

I agree. I think we could’ve won 7-8 games this year with a better play caller so it’s definitely not that crazy of a goal for next year. My only caution would be if we really do end up starting a true freshman QB. Hopefully the run game improves and lightens the load some.

Which five? I think we’ve got a punchers chance in all of our conference home games and the non-conference slate is pretty light.

I’d at least add WVU, Oregon St, and Tech to that list. May not win all of them but they should be winnable games.
Will be interesting to see what we do in the portal and to see the 25 class once signed. Imagine a freshman starting will have ups and down so can see 6-6 possible in that scenario.
I can’t explain why but I watched a couple of ASU games last year and they were atrocious. I remember they played a lot like we did tonight. So miracles can happen in the wide open B12.

6 wins and a bowl, and he wlll have shown improvements, his job is safe.
If his second year is like this year, he will have to have one hell of a season to get a fourth year. We’re not Tulane.

Maybe WVU, but ttu and osu not feeling good on those games.
We have been pretty snake bit against the Tech tards but it seems like we get up more for the in-state match ups. As for OSU, Corvallis is a weird place to play but I don’t think they’re expected to be very good next year.

Tech could put their cheerleaders in football uniforms for the game and we’d fumble 11 times and lose by 1. Until we prove we can play them without acting completely braindead I’ll mark that game as a loss.
