I’ll i know is he’s highly rated and plays the wing but i havent watch him play much.

I don’t think the staff is on him anymore. He is a good shooter and good rim protector but not a CKS type player. A little soft, fades in and out of games and his motor is off and on.

It’s becoming more and more apparent, not that it wasn’t already, that NIL is driving these players to name finalists. I view a player announcing his finalists as “we are down to the wire, give me your best and final offer”. Tough for UH to complete in that environment.

For many years prior to our program resurrection by Fertitta and CKS we were not able to recruit at a high enough level to compete for national titles.
My worry is that now that we have the staff, facilities and conference affiliation in place to compete at the highest level again - that the landscape is changing in such ways (transfer portal, NIL) to hold us back from that elusive natty.
Will we be able to get Jarrace Walkers in the future? Wasn’t he making his school choice prior to the rich programs getting their NIL machines fully rolling?

If i had to guess… Miller, Codie & McCarty would be the best case scenario right now, honestly as far as confidence goes.
