And apparently….they couldn’t beat Navy either.
Yeah yeah yeah…they said same thing about Giants beating the undefeated Pats in SB…that’s why they play the games…looking forward to watching ND get their usual beat down in the CFP

How about wearing it then, like Navy has done for a hundred flippin’ years! Gold helmets, Gold pants, and navy blue jersies or white jersies with navy blue numbers…THATS NAVY…ALL white is nothing but ugly, and any stickers they wish to put a helmet, they can put on a gold one…its in your SONG for God’s sake!! Navy blue and gold! They seem to be experimenting. …Last year they wore all blue, from head to foot.

I was in the Navy and I wore white uniforms in the summer and blue in the winter. Officers had gold buttons on their dress blue uniforms. You are being intentionally obstinate about a team not wearing it’s official school colors for a very special day.
I have no problem with special uniforms and helmets for a special game as they have been doing for years now – just as Army has been doing. What the Army team wore today is not their normal uniforms.

Army-Navy is usually the only non-UH game I sit down and watch all season. I Normally love the special unis that the teams come up with but I thought yesterday’s Navy uni was below their usual standards. I know the inspiration for it but that doesn’t make it a good uni (at least to me).
That said, I enjoyed the game as I always do despite missing the first quarter or so (I misread the start time 
)
Because its about more than just the academies, those special uniforms represent the line/fleet units. Even though im cheering for Navy it meant a lot to me when Army wore the 1AD uniforms.

Remember when they stomped us in the AF Bowl, they had those Big Red 1 First Infantry Division Uniforms. And they went thru us like the First Infantry 
Air Force has put together some sweet uniforms as well. I’m not a fan of all the alternate uniforms just for flash but the Service Acadamies do it right.
Those uniforms were AWESOME!!!

When I was aboard the Forrestal, my favorite squadron was VF11, aka as the World Famous Red Rippers. Their squadron leader was CMDR Dog Davidson who was one cool dude.

Back at the Army Navy Club all thawed out from the game.
The game had been a bucket list item for me and coupled with DC it’s was perfect. Our bowl game for 2024
Bought a Jolly Roger t shirt even though I’m Army but Navy won the uniform battle this year.
Said hello to Chet Gladchuk. President -Elect and his entourage were there and got big cheers. One general got huge boos. Might have been the West Point Superintendent.
Flyover had parachutists, helicopters and jets. Folks are friendly and just a great experience. Spending a couple of days looking around town.
