The J Brothers (Ja’vier and J’Wan) are both going to have NICE seasons imo.
But offense will not run through Ja’vier this season…

I am hoping for a big jump in Francis’ game this season. So far, he has shown that he is an off-the-bench player that can give you ten minutes a game. He needs to work on reducing, personal fouls, FT shooting, and some semblance of a credible offensive game. More will be expected of him this year.

I was talking about centers. Roberts plays hard and hustles every minute he is on the court. His replacement will one day be Mr Tugler

Roberts is a big and has been developed as one whether we believe he is undersized or not. His development speaks directly towards our program in that area.

I take all the talk about seeing a lot of 4 guard line ups as indication Javier is not where the coaches would like him to be yet. We’ll know more in the next 2 months!
Yes, by the end of the year I could see UH playing “Tugler and the 4 guards” quite a bit.

I can see that as an option. But, don’t see tuglar taking Jwons minutes. Offensively, Roberts was giving us like 10pts a game

The problem with Francis has been his feet. He’s been way too slow which means he doesn’t get to where he’s supposed to be on the rotations and being out of position he fouls too much. If coach Samspon doesn’t trust you defensively you’re not going to play that much. Has he improved in this area? I guess we’ll find out.

In the CBB Almanac Sampson stated that he’s hoping Francis takes a leap and is hoping J’wan has a big year.

Francis played well early last year, but contributed less than 2 pts and 2 rebs per game the second half of the season.
